Róisín works primarily with watercolours and is known for her detailed vibrant work.

Using high-quality pigments her work leverages the inherent transparency of the medium while also achieving depth and richness of colour by employing layering techniques. Her exceptional drawing skills are the foundation for most of her work, evidenced by her ‘Roots’ and ‘Stoned’ collections.

They are digitally produced archival Giclée prints using pigment and premium museum quality archival paper, Hahnemuhle Photorag 308 gsm matte, guaranteed not to fade. All Limited Edition prints are hand-signed and numbered by the artist in pencil with an embossed stamp and come with a certificate of authenticity.

Commissions

The artist accepts commissions from time to time of a specific scene or subject matter.

A commissioned watercolour painting or drawing is done specifically for you, however, a condition of commissioning an original work from the artist is that she retains full copyright of the resulting image.

Commissions have included Irish scenes Glencar Lough, Parkes Castle and Creane Farm; and a commission from the GAA of former Waterford hurler Tony Browne. Paintings were commissioned for former US Presidents George Bush Snr (RIP) and Bill Clinton, King Charles, Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands, former German Chancellor Helmut Kohl and three former Irish Taoisigh.
